Osupa Responds To Portable’s Apology, Promises To Take Action Against Him

Fuji legend Saheed Osupa has insisted on dealing with controversial singer Portable and Fuji artist Taye Currency, despite Portable’s public apology.

This comes after Portable recently accused Osupa on social media of removing his song from streaming platforms over copyright infringement.

In a widely shared Instagram video, Portable criticised Osupa, calling him “big for nothing” for allegedly flagging his song on Spotify and Apple Music.

After facing backlash for his remarks, Portable issued a public apology to Osupa.

Likewise, Ibadan-based Fuji musician Taye Currency sparked reactions after referring to Osupa as his “colleague” during his reunion with his former boss, Pasuma, a remark that did not sit well with Osupa’s fans.

However, addressing both incidents during a recent live performance, Osupa stated: “You will still be dealt with because you think you can come for an elder. I am coming for you.”

With the crowd chanting Portable’s name, Osupa reacted by saying: “Ati colleague mi, má wò rí. Mo n bò,” meaning (“And my colleague, don’t worry, I’m coming for you”).
