Odumodublvck, one of Nigeria's finest artists, has recently called out Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, for support regarding his new album, The Machine Is Coming.

In a post shared on social media, Odumodublvck expressed his frustration over the perceived lack of reciprocity from Obi, whom the artist previously supported during the last general elections. He emphasized that his backing for Obi was not just a casual endorsement but one that involved “sweat and blood,” suggesting his dedication to the candidate's cause.

In his public plea, Odumodublvck directly reached out to Obi, reminding him of their past positive relationship and support. He asked Obi to help promote his new album, The Machine Is Coming, by doing a video to endorse the project.

The artist’s tone was casual but earnest, urging Obi not to let their relationship take a negative turn. His message was clear: “Me and you never ever get problem before. Make e no start now.” This plea was not just about the album promotion but also a call for solidarity between the two, based on their shared history.

Odumodublvck’s request is rooted in the belief that support should be mutual, especially among individuals who have a past of backing one another. While his message was directed specifically to Obi, it highlights the broader issue of expectations within professional and personal relationships, especially in the entertainment industry, where collaboration and endorsement are crucial for success.

The artist’s candid appeal also reflects his frustration at the challenges he faces in gaining recognition and support for his work, despite his previous efforts to contribute to others' success.
