Nollywood actress Ini Edo has come under fire from a troll following the release of her latest Instagram photos, which showcase her embracing youthful fashion trends.
The mother of one, who is in her 40s, posted a series of striking photos where she rocked a bum short, a white top, and a denim jacket. Alongside the pictures, Ini captioned her post with, “Channelling my inner Gen Z vibes,” embracing a playful and youthful aesthetic.
While many admired her look, one follower wasn’t impressed and took a jab at her age and outfit in the comment section, writing,
“Which kind of dressing be this,, eh, this old woman!?”
The comment didn’t sit well with many of Ini Edo’s loyal fans, who wasted no time in defending her.
Instagram user Ab_igal4382 responded,
“Aunty wey no go old. If u don’t like her dressing why not leave her page because she didn’t beg u to comment. Devil in sheep’s clothes.”
Another supporter, Tabe Barbie, fired back, saying,
“Pray you get old, honey. Above all, I pray you heal.”
Joining the backlash against the troll, Realudykevin added,
“E no go ever better for you and your family, Amen. Just know that your life is going to be short since old age is a bad thing in your family. Amen.”
Despite the criticism, Ini Edo continues to express herself boldly, receiving overwhelming support from fans who appreciate her confidence and timeless beauty.
