Nigerian influencer and media personality Enioluwa has found himself at the center of controversy after tweeps on social media accused him of being an opportunist who only associates with popular women for personal gain a claim that quickly gained traction and sparked widespread reactions.
According to the viral post, Enioluwa is said to interact only with women who have at least 100,000 followers, often waiting for them to gain online fame before showing interest.
The tweep cited chef Hilda Baci as an example, alleging that Enioluwa ignored her until she rose to national prominence with her Guinness World Record cookathon attempt.
“Enioluwa will never post you unless you have 100k followers and above,” the post claimed. “He’s currently waiting for the next girl that will blow up so he can use his girl-boy, cunny-cunny way into her life.”
It was also alleged that Enioluwa avoids close friendships with men because “they will see through his intentions,” insinuating he targets influential women to enjoy a lifestyle funded by others.
The post quickly went viral, with many social media users weighing in. Some agreed with the sentiment, suggesting it's a common strategy in influencer culture.
“A lot of persons are guilty of this. They rate you based on your followers,” one user commented. Others saw nothing wrong, arguing that social media is about visibility and strategy.
One user defended Enioluwa, saying his relationship with Hilda Baci was professional, as he served as a brand ambassador during her cookathon.
So far, Enioluwa and his known associates, including Priscilla Ojo and Hilda Baci, have not responded to the trending claims. The online debate, however, continues to stir conversations around clout-chasing and calculated friendships in the influencer space.
