Nigerian music superstar Davido has allegedly taken legal action against a Twitter influencer — said to be a staunch supporter of fellow artist Wizkid — over multiple insensitive tweets about the death of his son, Ifeanyi, who tragically passed away two years ago.
The social media user reportedly made several provocative posts aimed at the singer, using the painful incident to mock him and even tagging him directly in some of the tweets. The posts sparked outrage across social media platforms.
According to emerging reports, Davido responded by alerting law enforcement, which allegedly resulted in the influencer being taken into custody. She is said to be currently detained and may face legal proceedings in the coming days.
“Online vawulence don reach real-life consequences!” a user commented, reacting to the situation.
Another added, “Her choice of words was very wrong so she has to face the consequences.”
