Nollywood actress Empress Njamah has touched the hearts of many on social media with a touching surprise for her late colleague Junior Pope’s wife, Jennifer Awele, on the remembrance day of her husband.
In an emotional post shared on Instagram, Empress revealed that she had organised a special makeover for Jennifer to help uplift her spirits.
The video showed Jennifer being treated to a makeover, and the actress also gifted her a large framed photo of Junior Pope.
In her caption, Empress expressed comforting words, reminding Jennifer that while it’s okay not to be okay, it’s important to start feeling better. She went on to say, “Your husband, Jnr Pope, may be gone, but his legacy lives on through you. Keep shining your light and making him proud. You’ve survived the darkest days, and now it’s time to find the light again. You got this, and I’m always here to support you.”
Empress also encouraged Jennifer to continue to find beauty in life despite the challenges, adding, “Life may have taken a different turn, but it doesn’t mean it’s not beautiful. Keep exploring, growing and finding joy in the little things.”
Empress ended her message with, “Love you always, Jennifer, aka wifey @qutejay.”
This heartfelt gesture has drawn admiration from many who have praised Empress for her compassion and support during such a difficult time.
