Popular Lagos socialite Emeka Okonkwo, also known as E-Money, reportedly regained his freedom on Tuesday after being questioned for hours by agents of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

E-Money was apprehended on Monday at his residence in the Omole area of Lagos and taken to the commission’s office in Abuja for interrogation.

He was detained by operatives over allegations of Naira abuse and the defacement of foreign currencies.

On Tuesday, the socialite took to his Instagram handle, @iam_emoney1, to share his celebration of being released.

Posing like a king in his palace, E-Money wrote: “No tension, everywhere good, I see all your love and support. God bless you all.”

The song, “Thank you for saving me, thank you my Lord,” was played on the background of the video.
