VeryDarkMan Claims Asake’s Family Drama Was Staged To Boost His Career After YBNL Exit

Nigerian social media personality Vincent Martins Otse, known as VeryDarkMan, has shared his opinion on Asake’s recent challenges in the music industry.

He pointed out that since the singer’s exit from Olamide’s YBNL label, he has been in the news for negative reasons, including his public fallout with his father.

In a TikTok video on Saturday, VDM suggested that Asake has not been as dominant as before, noting that he now struggles to hit number one on streaming platforms.

He went on to claim that the singer’s family controversy was orchestrated to create buzz and push his career forward.

He partly said, “Asake recently left YBNL and recently I saw a tweet that he can’t make number one on streaming platforms with his album, before his albums use to spend time on streaming platform, now I saw Asake on number one after his drama with his father it’s not surprise, they have to do the whole father stunt in order for him to get to number one.”
