Teyana Taylor, the celebrated entertainer and fashion icon, has addressed recent rumors surrounding her divorce settlement with former NBA star, Iman Shumpert. Contrary to claims that she walked away with a whopping $25 million, Taylor clarified that she received only about $10 million, which came exclusively from jointly-owned properties acquired during their marriage.
She has dispelled the misconceptions in a recent revelation, about her post-divorce assets. She emphasized that all the luxury vehicles she now owns—a Mercedes Sprinter, Maybach, Jeep Gladiator, and more—were personally purchased, with minimal financial input from Shumpert. “I walked away with what was mine,” she stated, revealing that she also retained ownership of two mansions, while Shumpert kept an equal share.
Taylor highlighted that the divorce proceedings had been peaceful until Shumpert brought the issue to social media. While she clarified that she hasn’t pursued legal action over his statements, she hinted at the possibility. Setting the record straight, Taylor affirmed that her financial gains from the divorce were limited to what she rightfully earned, and Shumpert himself “didn’t lose anything.”
