Skales Appreciates Banky W for Sponsoring His University Education

Nigerian singer Skales has expressed gratitude to his former record label boss, Banky W, for sponsoring his university education during his early music career.

Taking to his X handle on Thursday, the Shake Body crooner shared a photo of his long-awaited Bachelor of Science in Business Administration certificate, revealing that although he graduated years ago, he only recently received the document.

"Aye, my BSc showed up after many years of graduation! This is for my mother, and thank you to @BankyW for sponsoring the boy through school."

Skales, who signed with Empire Mates Entertainment (E.M.E.) in 2009, acknowledged that Banky W played a major role in his academic and career journey.

It has long been rumored that Banky W enrolled both Skales and Wizkid in Lead City University but that Wizkid later dropped out to focus on music.

Skales’ public appreciation has sparked praise for Banky W, with many fans hailing him as one of the most supportive record label bosses in Nigeria’s music industry.
