Controversial R&B artist R. Kelly has spoken out from prison, alleging financial exploitation and unfair treatment during his incarceration. In a recent phone call, Kelly expressed frustration over record labels profiting from his music catalog without providing him any royalties. He also claimed that he was framed and undeserving of his current 30-year prison sentence, of which he has served only three years. Kelly's outcry has sparked discussions around artists' rights, royalties, and the transparency of music industry contracts.

The disgraced musician, known for his influence on the R&B genre, revealed that his timeless hits continue to generate significant revenue globally, yet he sees none of the profits. Kelly further criticized the industry for exploiting his years of hard work and creativity while he remains behind bars. His statements come amid ongoing debates about residual rights and artist exploitation, reigniting curiosity and controversy surrounding his legacy.

R. Kelly joined Chris Brown's Residuals Challenge from prison, from where he made the heartfelt plea over a phone call, accusing labels of profiting from his music without giving him any royalties.

"I don't deserve to be in this prison, they framed me and st0le all my money and music." R Kelly

"They're still selling my music in the outside world while I'm in this pr!son and making millions but I am receiving nothing. Everything I've worked for all these years in music and career is being sold without my consent. Who's signing all the cheques and taking all the money? Even though I'm in this prîs0n, I know I don't deserve to be here. It seems I only wrote all those timeless hits for your selfish desires. My influence in music still remains indisputable I am the best song writers. Please where's my money? I made billions of dollars for you people and you still put me away because you wanted everything.  I just had to make this phone call and tell the world that I'm being exploited." R. Kelly

He has so far served only 3-years out of his 30-years sentence, with 27 more years to go.
