Nigerian music star Teni has shocked fans with a heartbreaking revelation about her recent battle with malaria, proving that even millionaires are not immune to health struggles.
In a video posted on Instagram, the ‘Billionaire’ crooner was seen receiving medical attention from a hospital bed, sharing how she suffered for two weeks, unable to eat and growing weak.
“Malaria held me down, I went through a lot. I was weak and down for two weeks. I couldn’t eat, so I lost weight. Amid the illness, I went to perform in Ondo because who will feed me? I can’t make a refund.”
Despite her struggles, the singer still delivered a performance, showing her unmatched dedication to her craft.
Teni also called on Oba Elegushi to tackle the mosquito problem in Ikate, Lagos, urging action against the malaria menace.
Captioning her post with “Money Cannot Buy You Health O Na God!”, she reminded fans that good health is the ultimate wealth.
