In a shocking twist, journalist Rufai Oseni has revealed that Folake Soetan, the CEO of Ikeja Electric, was allegedly locked in a car trunk during a military invasion of the company’s office.
This real-life drama unfolded after Ikeja Electric disconnected power to the Ikeja Air Force Base over unpaid electricity bills. In response, military officers reportedly stormed the premises, harassing employees and disrupting operations.
Speaking on the matter, Oseni claimed to have spoken directly to Soetan, who confirmed the disturbing ordeal. The revelation has since sparked nationwide outrage, with Nigerians questioning the abuse of power by the armed forces.
“Nigeria is beginning to look like a scripted drama,” one social media user remarked, while others demanded accountability and justice.

What triggered the madness? Unpaid electricity bills.
Instead of settling their debt, the soldiers pulled up in full force, roughing up workers and crippling operations.
