Leke Adeboye, son of renowned Pastor E.A. Adeboye, has issued a stern warning to youths participating in an online campaign that disparages his father and the Christian faith. The warning comes amidst the #30DaysRantChallenge, where certain youths allegedly make derogatory remarks about Pastor Adeboye and Christianity.
According to Paul James Adama, Convener of the Concerned Christian Youth Forum, Abuja, Nigeria, the silence of social media-savvy Christians, prophets, apostles, and young pastors in the face of these attacks is alarming. Adama warned that those who have made derogatory remarks about Pastor Adeboye and the Christian faith will face consequences for their actions.
The statement reads: "Let it be abundantly clear that those who have crossed the red line by abusing our faith and fathers of faith on that challenge will be communicated to in the language they will understand."
Leke Adeboye's warning serves as a reminder that the Adeboye family will not tolerate disrespect towards their patriarch or the Christian faith. The online campaign has sparked outrage among Christians, with many calling for respect and decency towards religious leaders.
As the debate continues, one thing is clear: the Adeboye family will not stand idly by while their faith and legacy are attacked. The warning issued by Leke Adeboye serves as a testament to their commitment to defending their values and beliefs.
