Nigerian guitarist, Fiokee, has shared the funeral arrangements for his sister, Emem Effanga, who was tragically murdered by her boyfriend, Ndifreke Isaiah Nelson, on February 6, 2025.

The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of the suspect. Emem, a makeup artist and hairstylist based in Uyo, will be laid to rest on March 22, 2025, in her hometown in Onna Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.

Fiokee, who has collaborated with top artists like Davido and Flavour, shared the obituary on social media. The news has sparked an outpouring of condolences and support for the grieving family.
