Afrobeats superstar Davido has expanded his record label, Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), by signing rising artist Boi Chase. The exciting announcement was made public through a celebratory dinner hosted by DMW, marking the official induction of the independent artist into the label.
DMW shared the joyous moment on its Instagram story, posting a video from the dinner with the caption: “Congratulations @datsboichase. Welcome to @davido @thedmwhq.”
Davido himself confirmed the news by reposting the video on his Instagram story, writing: “Welcome to greatness @datsboichase.”
Since its founding in April 2016, DMW has become a powerhouse in the Nigerian music industry, launching and elevating the careers of multiple artists. The label has been home to stars such as Peruzzi, Mayorkun, Dremo, Yonda, DJ ECool, Idowest, Danagog, Deekay, B-Red, and May D, among others.
With this latest signing, fans are eager to see what the future holds for Boi Chase under the DMW umbrella, as he joins a roster of talented musicians shaping the sound of Afrobeats globally.
