Ghanaian-Nigerian actress Yvonne Okoro has set social media abuzz with her candid preference for Nigerian men over their Ghanaian counterparts.
Speaking on the Ghanaian TV show Showbiz 360 alongside actor Majid Michel, Okoro explained that her choice isn’t just about financial generosity but also about the romantic nature of Nigerian men.
“Nigerian men or Ghanaian men? Nigerian men are better,” she declared, igniting playful banter and debates among fans from both nations.
Clarifying her stance, the Ghollywood and Nollywood star said, “I didn’t say Nigerian men because of money. That’s not the only thing. Money is there, but love and affection are very important. If they give me money but there’s no love or respect, I wouldn’t want that.”
The actress, born in Tamale, Ghana, to a Nigerian father and a Ghanaian mother, added, “I want the whole package. That’s my kind of man. I want everything.”
