Teebillz, the former husband of Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage, has publicly apologized to media personality Toke Makinwa for his harsh comments directed at her. The apology came during a live Instagram session with Daddy Freeze, where Teebillz addressed his previous attacks on Toke regarding her stance on the ongoing divorce saga between Annie Idibia and 2Baba. He admitted that his initial message was misunderstood and emphasized the importance of unity and understanding within families.
Teebillz explained that he was moved by Toke’s reaction to 2Baba’s public announcement of their separation. He acknowledged that family disputes are often complicated and that sometimes, separation can be a necessary step for healing and self-reflection.
