Nigerian comedian Oluwaseyitan Aletile, popularly known as Seyi Law, has taken a jab at Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, accusing him of favoritism and pretentious behavior.
This comes after popular skit maker Mr. Macaroni publicly declared his intention to continue snubbing Governor Sanwo-Olu, sparking heated reactions on social media.
Reacting to the incident, Seyi Law took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to back Mr. Macaroni’s stance, sharing his personal experience with the governor.
“Nobody should blame Macaroni for the way he speaks to Gov. @jidesanwoolu. Gov. BOS will see me and act like he doesn’t know me, but he will be begging Macaroni for a handshake. Everybody get out,” Seyi Law tweeted.
The comedian’s comment adds a new layer of humor and critique to the ongoing saga, highlighting the strained relationship between some Nigerian entertainers and political figures.
The public fallout has sparked widespread debate, with many praising Mr. Macaroni and Seyi Law for their boldness in holding leaders accountable, while others question the entertainers’ approach to addressing grievances.
