The Burna Boy and Cubana Chief Priest drama has taken a legal twist as Stan Alieke, lawyer to embattled singer Speed Darlington, publicly challenges Burna Boy to maintain the same energy with Chief Priest as he did with his client.
Speed Darlington, who was previously arrested after alleging that Burna Boy had a questionable relationship with American music mogul Diddy, finds an unlikely ally in Alieke, who now questions the Grammy-winning artist’s consistency.
The lawyer’s challenge comes after Chief Priest, in response to Burna’s shade, reignited the controversial "Diddy and baby oil" claims. The socialite, known for his brash persona, insinuated that Burna’s Grammy win was tied to unsavory dealings, a statement that mirrors the accusations that landed Darlington in trouble.
Taking to Instagram, Alieke wrote: “Your petition claims that the Diddy and baby oil banter has caused ‘irreparable damage to your international reputation and has made you lose a lot of gigs.’
“Hey, another person with more reach and influence just referenced the baby oil and Diddy banter, so the world is expecting you to engage the police and arrest him since that’s your modus operandi, or the street will interpret it as cowardice.
“Well, I’m just a lawyer that wants justice to go round.”

This latest development has set social media ablaze, with fans questioning if Burna Boy will respond to the challenge or let the matter slide. The streets are watching closely as the saga continues to unfold, with many wondering if Burna will rise to the occasion or risk the perception of double standards.
