Tobi Makinde was born on May 16, 1991, in Lagos State, Nigeria, and hails from Ilesha, Osun State. Raised in Agemowo Town, Badagry, Lagos, Makinde credits his upbringing and his father’s influence for inspiring his early interest in acting.
He attended Odofa Children's Home in Ogun State for his primary education and completed his secondary schooling at Supreme Pillars College, Badagry.
