Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe has opened up about a devastating experience that left her broken and overwhelmed. In a recent social media post, Aigbe shared how her staff stole from her after a fire incident at her home in December 2024.
The fire, which was caused by a power surge, destroyed a significant portion of Aigbe's merchandise, including goods she had imported from China for the promotion of her film "Thin Line". Despite the devastating loss, Aigbe expressed gratitude that no lives were lost in the incident.
However, her relief was short-lived as she soon discovered that her staff had stolen from her at her fashion house. The theft was so severe that Aigbe had to involve the police. The incident left her feeling overwhelmed and drained, prompting her to take a break.
In her post, Aigbe reflected on the challenges she faced in 2024, but expressed her determination to bounce back stronger in 2025. She stated, "I'm back on the grind, back rejuvenated, back re-energized, back revitalized, back renewed, back like I never left, and back to do a lot of exploits this 2025."
