The ongoing spat between fast-rising music star Spyro and music executive Ubi Franklin has taken an interesting turn. After Ubi refuted Spyro's claims of being owed $5,000 for a gig in Ghana and instead accused Spyro of owing him money, Spyro has responded with a show of gratitude and success.
Taking to his Instagram page, Spyro shared a post showcasing his material possessions, including a luxurious car and a beautiful home. However, the focus of the post was not to brag about his wealth, but to express his gratitude to God for his blessings.
According to Spyro, God has been faithful to him, providing for his needs and blessing him without demanding a 10 percent commission. This statement was clearly a subtle shade at Ubi Franklin, who had claimed that Spyro owed him a 10 percent commission for introducing him to a car dealer.
Spyro's response is a clever way of addressing Ubi's allegations without directly engaging with him. By focusing on his blessings and expressing gratitude to God, Spyro is able to maintain a positive tone while also subtly reinforcing his claim that he does not owe Ubi any money.
Taking to his Instagram page this morning, the "Who is you guys crooner" posted :
"Franklin speaking. Sorry I mean, frankly speaking, God has been faithful without taking no 10 percent on his faithfulness”.
in another post, admonishing upcoming artists, he used himself as an example that serving God pays.
My brothers and sisters, especially to the young folks, these are evidence that serving God truly pays. You Didn’t have to do illegal to be this blessed, and this kind of riches comes with peace”.
