Celebrated On-Air Personality Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode, famously known as Do2dtun, has officially bowed out of radio after an illustrious 20-year career.
In a heartfelt post that has taken social media by storm, Do2dtun announced his departure, expressing both gratitude and nostalgia for the medium that catapulted him to fame. "20 years on radio, it is time to say goodbye. It is time to leave what I loved and would always love," he wrote, signaling the end of an era for one of Nigeria's most dynamic voices.
Reflecting on his remarkable journey, Do2dtun recounted his humble beginnings as an intern at Cool FM in Lagos. Joining on November 1, 2004, under the mentorship of radio legends like Daddy Freeze, the late Dan Foster, and Olisa Adibua, he rose to become a household name, celebrated for his vibrant personality and unique style.
"This must be one of the hardest decisions I have made," he shared. "I’m fulfilled in my heart that I built a legacy."
Do2dtun's departure marks a poignant moment in Nigerian entertainment, as fans and colleagues celebrate his contributions to the radio industry while eagerly anticipating his next chapter.
