Content creator Denilson Igwe has cast doubt on the recent revelation by his estranged collaborator, Mark Angel, about losing $3.7 million (approximately 6 billion naira) in forex trading.
Mark Angel had taken to Instagram to describe 2024 as the most challenging year of his life, attributing his struggles to the massive financial loss. The skitmaker’s emotional post drew sympathy from fans and colleagues online.
However, Denilson Igwe was unconvinced by the claims. Taking to Instagram, he wrote, “Lies na water. Some people are just worse than the devil.”
The tension between the two creators isn’t new. In 2024, Denilson accused Mark Angel of diverting streaming revenues from their comedy team into his personal accounts. He alleged that Mark was raking in millions of dollars while paying team members meager amounts.
The latest accusation adds another layer to the fallout between the former collaborators, with fans speculating on the authenticity of Mark Angel’s forex loss and the ongoing feud. Neither Mark Angel nor his team has responded to Denilson’s comments at the time of this report.
