Nigerian model Samuel Nwajagu has achieved a groundbreaking milestone, becoming the first African to win the prestigious Mister International pageant. The historic win took place at the 16th edition of the competition, held on December 14, 2024, in Bangkok, Thailand.
The pageant welcomed contestants from 47 countries, with Nwajagu emerging as the top winner. The final round saw him compete against Nguyễn Mạnh Lân of Vietnam and Glenn Victor Sutanto of Indonesia, who finished as the first and second runners-up, respectively.
Nwajagu’s journey to the international stage began in July when he was crowned Mister International Nigeria, earning him the opportunity to represent the country in Thailand. His win highlights the growing global recognition of African talent in the modeling and pageantry industry.
