Nollywood actor Daniel Etim Effiong and his wife, Toyosi Effiong, have sparked conversations about trust and transparency in marriage following a candid discussion on the latest episode of The Toyosi Podcast.
During the heartfelt exchange, Daniel asked his wife if she fully trusts him after seven years of marriage. Her response was both honest and reflective, shedding light on the complexities of marital trust.
Toyosi admitted she doesn’t trust her husband entirely but emphasized her confidence in his commitment to their relationship: "Do I trust you 100 per cent? No, but I trust that you will always keep me in the loop," she said, laughing.
She elaborated on her perspective: "I think that you will do your absolute best to honour your vows and what we have. But I’m also aware that... things happen. And I feel like if anything ever happens, I would know."
