Nollywood actress Bimbo Ademoye has humorously refuted fellow actress Toyin Abraham's recent announcement that she acquired a new house and a Mercedes-Benz.
During the premiere of her movie Alakada! Bahd and Boujee on Sunday night at Filmhouse IMAX, Lekki, Lagos, Toyin Abraham publicly declared that Ademoye had made these significant purchases.
"Bimbo just bought a car and a house, put it on social media... Latest Benz," Abraham proclaimed.
The statement elicited a swift reaction from actress Ini Edo, who tapped Abraham on the shoulder, seemingly questioning the revelation.
In response, Abraham laughed and suggested she was joking.
Addressing the claim on her Instagram page, Bimbo Ademoye playfully denied the acquisition, attributing the false information to Abraham's movie character, Yetunde Animashaun.
"Yetunde Animashaun paro ku. She even dropped one lie last night at the premiere of #AlakadaBadandBoujee. House and car whereeeeeee, wey I never chop belleful," Ademoye wrote, using pidgin English to express that she hasn't reached such financial milestones.
