Afrobeats queen Tiwa Savage has taken a bold stand against harassment from fans of fellow Nigerian artist Wizkid, collectively known as Wizkid FC. The star addressed the issue on Friday after releasing her new collaboration with Ruger, Toma Toma, which dropped on November 15.

While sharing the release on Instagram, Tiwa expressed her excitement, writing: "Told y’all this one is special. The @rugerofficial called and I answered."

However, some Wizkid FC fans took to her comment section to mock the release, accusing her of competing with Wizkid, whose music also dominated discussions the same day. One user, @standardwears1, commented: "Dey play, nothing special pass Wizzy hits."

Unamused by the remarks, Tiwa Savage clapped back, describing the fanbase’s behavior as bullying: "Because I am promoting music? WTF. Y’all are not fans anymore; you guys are actual bullies."

The comment highlights an ongoing tension between Wizkid FC and artists who often find themselves at odds with the fiercely loyal fanbase. Known for aggressively defending their idol, the group has sparked multiple controversies by clashing with other top Nigerian singers in a bid to assert Wizkid’s dominance in the music industry.

Fans of Tiwa Savage have since rallied to her defense, praising her for speaking up and focusing on her craft.
