Skales Reflects on Late Mother, Regrets Not Starting a Family Sooner

Nigerian singer Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, has once again taken to social media to express his grief over the loss of his mother, who passed away in October 2022.

In an emotional post on X (formerly Twitter), the Shake Body hitmaker shared his heartfelt wish, writing:

“Men, I wish I could bring back my mother.”

The message resonated deeply with fans, who flooded the comments with words of comfort and prayers for the 33-year-old artist.

Speaking about his loss during a recent interview with VJ Adams, Skales revealed how his mother’s passing has profoundly impacted his perspective on life and family. The singer admitted regretting not starting a family earlier, realizing the weight of being the sole survivor in his bloodline.

“Right now, I regret not having baby mamas. I really regret it. I’m like the only person in my bloodline that is alive right now. So, the whole bloodline relies on me to produce [children],” he said.
