The sibling rivalry between P-Square’s Peter Okoye, aka Mr. P, and his twin brother Paul Okoye, aka Rudeboy, has taken a dramatic turn with recent accusations over song ownership.
Rudeboy claimed that Mr. P released a song titled Winning—originally written and recorded by him—for his own album next year, alleging the involvement of producer Vampire in transferring the song.
Rudeboy claimed that Mr. P released a song titled Winning—originally written and recorded by him—for his own album next year, alleging the involvement of producer Vampire in transferring the song.
In a response to the allegations, Mr. P took to Instagram to clarify his side, asserting that he co-wrote and composed Winning alongside songwriter Calypso60. According to Mr. P, both he and Calypso60 worked closely with producer Vampire and co-producer Goldswarm, giving full credit to his collaborators.
“Person no dey thief him own property!” Mr. P stated, dismissing the idea of stealing his own music. “For the record, *Winning* was written and composed by @calypso60music and myself... Allow me to enjoy my new single in peace,” he added.
As he urged fans to focus on the music and avoid the ongoing drama, Mr. P called for an end to the negativity, encouraging listeners to stream the song without distraction. The saga has left fans divided, with many hoping the two brothers might eventually reconcile.
