Esisi, addressing the allegations on her Instagram, firmly stated, “I’m not lesbian, and not even bisexual.” She invited anyone with proof to step forward, asserting that there is no such evidence.
She took the opportunity to address other rumors circulating, including claims of STDs linked to unsubstantiated reports of anal sex. She dismissed the rumors as baseless, writing, "Last I checked, didn’t you have to actually have sex with someone to have a 'sexually transmitted disease'?”

Esisi went on to refute the accusations in a series of posts, saying, “I would like to see that video [allegedly used for blackmail]. If you have any video of a sort, kindly just go right ahead and post it online.”
Esisi and Blossom Chukwujekwu were married in 2015 but ended their marriage four years later. Despite the recent controversy, she maintained she has no issues with people who identify as LGBTQ+, clarifying that her personal attraction is solely toward men.
