Embattled Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky, has finally shed light on his decision to leave Nigeria temporarily after a turbulent series of legal encounters.

Addressing fans via his Instagram page on Monday, Bobrisky explained that his temporary departure was essential for his "sanity and health," expressing frustration over alleged attempts by Nigerian security agencies to “frustrate” him.
“Few Nigerian security agencies tried everything to frustrate me, but naaa, I gat God,” he stated.
Bobrisky revealed that his journey was far from smooth, having to purchase three business class tickets, with only the last one resulting in a successful departure. He noted, “Each business class cost me N9,800,000. I only successfully flew yesterday.”
As Bobrisky takes time abroad to recuperate, his candid posts have sparked conversations online, with fans sharing a mix of support and curiosity about the next steps in his unfolding journey.
