Nigerian singer Lojay has clarified his relationship with Folasade Adeleke, Davido’s cousin, after rumors circulated that the pair were romantically involved.
Speaking in an interview with City 105.1 FM, Lagos, Lojay dismissed the speculation, calling Folasade his “bestie.”

"She is my bestie," Lojay said with a laugh, adding, "Honestly, she’s one of the closest people to me. We are really good friends. I sent her balloons and flowers for her birthday as a beautiful gesture.”
Rumors of romantic ties have been swirling around the Adeleke family lately. Just recently, another of Davido’s cousins, Adenike Adeleke (also known as Nikos Living), sparked dating rumors with singer Young John after they were spotted together on multiple occasions. However, both have remained silent about their relationship status.
As Lojay’s clarification makes the rounds, fans are speculating whether his "bestie" comments will finally put the rumors to rest.
