Afrobeats sensation Kizz Daniel has sparked a heated conversation about songwriting in the Nigerian music industry after boldly stating that only fellow singer Runtown has ever written a song for him.
Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) handle, the "Buga" hitmaker heaped praise on Runtown, calling him a “Sound God” for penning a track for him:
“For the first time in my life, Person write song for me and na Runtown …… Sound God is not human.”

When an X user, @KTwinBlog, questioned his claim, Kizz Daniel doubled down:
“Make any mofo come out say dem write for me I go stop music right now.”
