Following the recent arrest of popular Nigerian crossdresser Bobrisky at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, social media has erupted with accusations against businessman Isaac Fayose, who posted a video with Bobrisky on their flight to London.
Fans allege that Fayose’s social media post “tipped off” the EFCC, leading to Bobrisky’s dramatic apprehension before takeoff.
Comments on social media claim that the shared footage gave authorities the alert they needed to intercept Bobrisky. “All the problems Bobrisky is passing through are self-inflicted,” one user wrote. “He talks too much… Every single thing being used against him is public information.”
In response, Fayose defended himself, saying, “As if Bobrisky isn’t a known face in Naija—it would have still happened regardless.” He implied that Bobrisky’s fame, not his post, would have attracted the attention of the EFCC. Despite this, fans continue to speculate, noting that Bobrisky’s frequent posts and lack of discretion have contributed to his legal troubles.
