Nollywood star Toyin Abraham has responded to accusations made by fashion designer @stitchesbyandra, who claimed that Abraham, along with Annie Idibia and Gabriel Anthony, owes her millions in unpaid debts from over a year ago.
The designer took to Instagram to express her frustration, writing, “@toyin_abraham @annieidibial @gabrielanthonys, my patience is running out already. 1 year and 2 months. How can you be with someone’s millions and feel so reluctant?”
Reacting to the claims, Toyin Abraham addressed the situation in an Instagram post on Friday night, firmly denying the allegations. She explained that the designer's dresses were used for a runway scene in her film Malaika, and the dresses had been returned.
Abraham clarified, “During the production of *Malaika*, we needed dresses for a runway scene. Gabriel, who was part of the team, mentioned that a friend of his, the designer, wanted to contribute dresses. After the shoot, I handed them back to Gabriel. He confirmed to me that he had returned the dresses to her, and they were subsequently borrowed by someone else. It’s no longer my responsibility.”
Abraham’s post has sparked reactions online, with fans and followers waiting to see if the designer will respond to her side of the story. This incident has added more drama to the lives of Nollywood celebrities, with many eager to see how it unfolds.
