Controversial rapper Speed Darlington, who was reported missing since Friday, has been arrested, according to popular lawyer and activist Deji Adeyanju.

Adeyanju, in a series of posts on his X handle, confirmed that Speed Darlington was arrested in Lagos before being transferred to the Force Headquarters in Abuja. The lawyer revealed that the arrest stemmed from a formal complaint filed by Burna Boy, though the specific charges were not detailed.
"We just spent the last 30 minutes with Speed Darlington, and he narrated how he was arrested in Lagos on Friday last week, moved around, and eventually brought to Abuja. The petition against him was written by Burna Boy, we can confirm," Adeyanju wrote.
This development follows a public outcry led by Speed Darlington’s mother, who accused Burna Boy and his team of orchestrating her son’s disappearance.
