Popular Nollywood actress Ini Edo has responded to recent speculations about her marital status following a viral photo she shared in a traditional Efik bridal gown. The image, posted in September 2024 with a love-themed caption, led to widespread rumors of an engagement.
However, in her latest interview with Premium Times, the actress clarified that the bridal photo was part of a promotional campaign for her upcoming four-part series, My Fairytale Wedding, and had nothing to do with her personal life.
When asked if she hoped for a real-life fairytale wedding, Ini Edo explained that marriage is no longer a priority for her. "I’m not crazy about marriage; I am crazy about having a solid relationship. I’m not hoping, and it’s not any of my prayer points," she said.
Our source reports that the actress was previously married to Nigerian-American businessman Philip Ehiagwina. The couple tied the knot in 2008 but divorced in 2014.
