Nigerian singer and activist Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has issued a stern warning to popular social media critic VeryDarkMan amidst their ongoing legal feud.

This comes after a leaked voice recording of crossdresser Bobrisky sparked controversy, with allegations that Falz and his father, prominent human rights lawyer Femi Falana, were involved in securing a N10 million presidential pardon for Bobrisky during his six-month jail term for naira abuse.

The leaked audio, shared by VeryDarkMan, has since ignited various reactions across social media, placing Falz at the center of public scrutiny.

In a recent interview on the Afro Beats podcast, Falz addressed the situation for the first time, slamming VeryDarkMan for failing to retract the false allegations. Despite legal action taken by the singer, the social media critic has yet to apologize publicly or take down the audio.

Falz expressed his frustration: “When I reached out to him over the audio, this guy was instantly defensive…He said without mincing words, ‘Shebi you are a lawyer, you can go to court.’”

The singer hinted at taking stronger legal measures, warning VeryDarkMan that his actions have criminal implications. “He could have been arrested because what you posted is absolutely false... If you say you want to find trouble, that is my work. If you insist that’s what you are looking for, let’s go,” Falz concluded.
