Divisional Police Officer Collapses and Passes Away

 

CSP Bolaji Olugbenga, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) at the Ijanikin Police Station in Lagos State, has passed away.

Reports indicate that he collapsed in his office and unfortunately died before he could be taken to a hospital on Thursday night.

His sudden death has left the officers at the station in deep mourning.

A police officer from the division, who wished to remain unnamed, confirmed that the DPO's body has been transferred to a mortuary.

In the words of the officer:

“He slumped in the office on Thursday and was quickly rushed to the hospital. But sadly, we lost him,” he said.
