Carvajal suffered a torn ACL following a severe knee injury during the match against Villarreal.
The Real Madrid and Spain defender was visibly distraught, screaming and crying after an accidental clash with an opponent in stoppage time.
As a result of the injury, Carvajal is expected to be sidelined until at least April 2025.
