In the latest twist of the ongoing saga involving social media personality Bobrisky and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), outspoken activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has made it clear that he will not be honoring the EFCC’s invitation to Lagos. The invitation followed his explosive revelation of an alleged N15 million bribe involving EFCC officials and Bobrisky.
VeryDarkMan, who released the now-viral audio of Bobrisky allegedly claiming to have bribed his way out of a money laundering case, is refusing to travel to Lagos due to concerns about his safety and skepticism about the agency’s intentions.

He further criticized the EFCC for not properly investigating its own officers first, before summoning him. “Before you invite someone like me, do a deep investigation on your officers first,” he declared, adding that the EFCC should summon Bobrisky to Abuja, where the anti-graft agency’s headquarters is located, instead of requiring him to travel to Lagos.
VeryDarkMan also expressed frustration with how Bobrisky’s case was handled, accusing the EFCC of failing to ensure the socialite was actually committed to prison after his conviction. His defiance and firm stance have ignited another wave of reactions on social media, with many applauding his boldness while others question his decision to refuse the invitation.
