Nollywood star Toyin Abraham has finally addressed concerns after her recent social media plea sparked a wave of reactions. The actress, who took to Instagram earlier with a cryptic post asking for God's help, had left fans and friends worried about her well-being.
Many speculated that Abraham's distress might be linked to the country's recent petrol price hike, given her vocal support for President Bola Tinubu's administration. Some users even criticized her for backing the government amidst tough economic times.
However, in a now-viral Instagram video, Toyin clarified the situation, revealing that her post was a call for strength due to feeling overwhelmed by the large crowd gathered at her home, rather than a cry for help.
She explained, “There’s nothing wrong with me. I was just overwhelmed by the massive crowd here. We had to make food for them, and that’s why I’m asking for strength. I’m okay, fam.”
In the caption of her video, she added: “I’m very okay Fam. I’m just overwhelmed and truthfully I need strength from GOD. Thank you all for your love and calls. IYA YIN wa alright o. Love you all and thanks once again.”
