Nollywood star and media personality Toke Makinwa has sparked a social media frenzy after revealing that iconic singer D’banj is the only Nigerian man who has ever given her "free money" with no strings attached!
In a viral video circulating online, Toke shared a heartwarming story about the Koko Master, recalling how he pledged N10 million during her book launch and surprised her by sending the full amount the very next morning.
“D’banj pledged 10 million Naira at my book launch and sent it at 8:00 am the next morning. Never asked for anything in return,” she revealed, clearly still in awe. “The only Nigerian man that has given me free money.”
Unlike many other men who expect something in return for such gestures, Makinwa pointed out that D’banj was refreshingly different. She hinted that other Nigerian men have often asked her out on dates after similar acts of generosity.
