Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has sparked yet another wave of controversy by declaring himself a pastor.
In a newly surfaced video, Portable, dressed in a celestial outfit, proclaimed that he is a man of God who speaks divine messages to people. His self-assertion came in response to the backlash he received after a viral video showed him assaulting a preacher who had attempted to evangelize at his bar.
Angered by Portable’s actions, the pastor described the incident as highly disrespectful and warned the singer that he would face consequences for his behavior. The altercation ignited widespread outrage online, with Nigerians condemning Portable for his actions.
Defending himself, Portable remarked, “I’m a pastor. When I speak, God speaks. I have never disrespected any pastor. If he were one, God would have told me.”
The singer’s bold statement has continued to fuel discussions, leaving many shocked by his latest claim.
