Cabasa stressed that artists should approach the industry not just as creatives but as business-minded individuals. "You need to come into the industry with much more and not just as an artist. Also, you have to be business-minded. Not just the business of making music but with the sense of making money with it," he said.
He also advised upcoming artists to make smart decisions when signing record contracts, highlighting the power of choice. "One of the good things that God has given you is choice. You have a choice to either stay back or stand up and walk away. It is not the business that is having the problem but our mindset," Cabasa noted.
