BREAKING: Nollywood Actor Big Larry Passes Away, Industry Mourns Another Loss

Nollywood has been hit with another tragedy as actor Big Larry has reportedly passed away.

The actor’s death was announced on Friday by popular movie producer, Stanley Ontop, who shared the news on his official Instagram page.

In a heartfelt post, Stanley wrote, “Nollywood actor Big Larry has just passed away. What caused his demise is yet to be known. May your soul rest in peace, Big Larry. Nollywood, Asaba mourns.”

This heartbreaking news adds to the long list of Nollywood practitioners who have passed away since January 2024, including Mr. Ibu, Amaechi Muonagor, Sisi Quadri, Ganiyu 'Ogunjimi' Oyeyemi, and Junior Pope.

In response to the alarming rate of deaths in the industry, the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) organized a four-day fasting and prayer session in May 2024 with Pastor Jerry Eze, seeking divine intervention against untimely deaths in Nollywood.
