American singer Solána Imani Rowe, widely known as SZA, has announced an indefinite hiatus from live performances. This decision comes after her headlining act at Montreal’s Osheaga Festival on August 5, 2024.
The 'Kill Bill' hitmaker took to her social media to share the news, expressing her need to take a break and focus on her personal life. On her X handle, she wrote:
“Yesterday was my last show for a while. Finally bout to get my life together. Thank u God.”
SZA has been actively touring since early 2023, performing a staggering 63 shows worldwide for her ‘SOS’ Tour. Following this, she continued with a packed summer festival schedule, which included major performances at events like the Osheaga Festival.
