Nigerian actress Belinda Effah Agbor has shared a harrowing experience she endured during a ride-hailing trip in Lagos, which has left her deeply traumatized. The incident occurred while she was crossing the Third Mainland Bridge, one of the longest bridges in Africa.
Agbor took to Instagram to recount the disturbing event, revealing that the driver of the vehicle began engaging in inappropriate behavior while she and a minor were present. According to the actress, the driver shockingly began masturbating during the journey, leaving her in a state of fear and distress.
"I have never been this traumatized," Agbor wrote. She explained that the incident took place as they were crossing the bridge, a situation that made it even more terrifying. "Immediately we got to Third Mainland Bridge, this man brought out his private part and started misbehaving. I was too scared to even carry my phone."
The actress described how she struggled to maintain her composure for the safety of both herself and the child seated in the back of the car. "I tried to distract him for the safety of me and the minor that was behind in the car. I couldn’t react too harshly, so she doesn’t understand what’s going on. I didn’t want her scared."
Adding to the disturbing nature of the incident, Agbor noted that the driver was playing Christian music during the entire ordeal, which starkly contrasted with his reprehensible actions.
In her post, Agbor expressed her concern for others who might find themselves in similar situations, particularly those who travel alone at night. She concluded by asking for divine protection, saying, "May God forever protect us from evil."
